Choose a question with three separately verifiable claims. For each answer, open the source and mark whether it directly supports the associated sentence. Check the date and distinguish publication date from event date. If two cited pages both repeat a third page, you still have one underlying source, not independent confirmation.
The advantage of visible research paths
An answer that makes its evidence easy to inspect can save time and reveal gaps. The drawback is that visible links can create false confidence. A citation can be real but irrelevant, outdated, or less authoritative than the wording suggests. Your verification work remains necessary.
Where a general assistant can be simpler
If your main task is rewriting your own notes, organizing a known argument, or revising a message, repeated web discovery may be unnecessary. Compare how well the tool preserves facts and follows your desired format. Do not ask it to add sources merely to decorate a draft.
